Runway Flight Simulators Ltd - Military Cadet Course Terms and Conditions

  1. Course Structure and Duration
The Cadet Course consists of 35 hours of training, delivered as:

    • Eight (8) × 3-hour sessions in the Vulcan simulator;

    • Three (3) × 3-hour sessions in the Spitfire simulator; and

    • One (1) × 2-hour induction session.

  2. Scheduling

    • Sessions are normally held every two weeks, on weekday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

    • Runway reserves the right to amend session content, dates, or times where necessary. Every effort will be made to provide at least 48 hours’ notice of any changes.

  3. Deferral of Sessions

    • Each customer may defer up to four (4) of the scheduled sessions to later course dates.

    • Deferred sessions must be rebooked within the duration of the course or as agreed with Runway.

  4. Missed Sessions

    • If a customer misses more than the four (4) permitted deferred sessions, they may complete the course by purchasing additional sessions at the standard hourly rate of £45 per hour.

  5. Additional Sessions

    • Customers may purchase extra training sessions beyond the standard course hours at £45 per hour, subject to simulator and instructor availability.

  6. Right to Amend

  • Runway reserves the right to update course content, scheduling, or structure at its discretion.

  • Any such changes will not entitle customers to a refund or compensation, provided reasonable effort is made to deliver the full course content.

   7. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Payment: Full payment for the Cadet Course is required in advance at the time of booking. A place on the course is not confirmed until payment has been received in full.

  • Customer cancellations: Once a booking has been confirmed and payment received, course fees are non-refundable, except where Runway agrees otherwise in writing.

  • If a customer is unable to attend a scheduled session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, Runway may, at its discretion, offer an alternative session date where availability allows.

  • Course withdrawals: Customers who withdraw partway through the course will not normally receive a refund for unused sessions. However, Runway may consider partial credit in exceptional circumstances.

  • Runway cancellations: If Runway cancels a scheduled session and cannot offer a suitable alternative date, the customer will be entitled to a credit or refund for that session only.

  • These provisions do not affect the customer’s statutory rights under consumer law.
